Problem Shared (herein referred to as the 'site') uses technology to help consumers (herein referred to as 'user/users') gain access to the justice system. Case specific information will only be shared with partners following the approval of a user.


The site does not warrant the validity and accuracy of information submitted by users or partners. The Company does not guarantee the quality of any work produced by partners orginated on the site.


You agree to provide true and accurate information when using the site. You may use another person's email address or the name of another individual when using this site and agree to notify the company immediately of any unauthorised use of your email or any other breech of security. The company will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply.

Disclaimer of legal representaion

Use of this site is not intended to and does not create partner/user relationship. Establishment of partner/client relationships must occur outside the scope of this site. The site offers no legal advice, recommendations, endorsements, or legal representation of any sort. The Service offers users a means to obtain guidance on appropriate legal advisors. The site does not practice law, nor provides legal services. Each user is solely responsible for making his, her or its own selection of partners. The site and the user are aware that legal services provided by partners firm will not be free of charge. Fees may be charged by partners to the users and both parties hereby release the site from the responsibility of those fees.


All information provided through this site is subject to interception by third parties. By continuing to use this site you hereby acknowledge that disclosure of electronic communications sent through the site may occur. Users should avoid disclosing any privileged and/or specific information regarding matters for which legal representation is sought. Specific information would include, by way of example only, names of persons, businesses, and facts that would readily identify the parties involved in the legal issue or dispute. Users should describe their issue or dispute in the general terms only. Specific information should only be revealed after the user has selected a partner and made contact outside the site.

Privacy and disclosure of information

The user understands that by accepting these terms and conditions, he/she agrees that the site is not responsible for any legal advice or information given by a partner who elects to contact them and understands that by releasing their name, email address and telephone number they hereby forfeit their privacy and anonymity under these terms and conditions. Sole discretion

The site will not direct a user in the selection of a partner or limit the ability of a partner to use his or her own judgment in the practice of law.

Collection of PII

The Company only collects User's personally identifiable information ("PII") that is provided by Users while posting a case for the purpose of resolving their case. Examples of PII that may be requested include: first and last name, address, email address, and telephone number.


Partners and users release, acquit and forever discharge the site, its directors, officers, employees and shareholders from any and all claims, demands, losses, injuries, liability, or damages of any kind and nature, whether known or unknown, suspected or unsuspected, disclosed or undisclosed, arising out of or in any way contacted with the site, any disclosure resulting from your use of the site, any conflict of interest, ethical violation, or any alleged malpractice arising out of any use of the site.

SRA Code of Conduct

The site will comply with the SRA Code of Conduct 2017, in particular Chapter 9. If any user submitting case details subsequently receives an offer from a partner and that user chooses to instruct that partner, the partner may pay Problem Shared a referral fee and/or a subscription fee. The partner will not charge this fee to the user.

Agreement ammendments

Problem Shared may amend this Agreement at any time by posting the amended terms and conditions on the site.

Post guidelines

By using the site, you expressly agree only to post content that complies with the site’s guidelines. Specifically. you expressly agree not to post, upload to, transmit, distribute, store, create or otherwise publish through the site any content that:
Is false, unlawful, misleading, libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, indecent, lewd, suggestive, harassing (or advocates harassment of another person), threatening, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, abusive, inflammatory, fraudulent or otherwise objectionable; m. Is patently offensive to the online community, such as that which promotes racism, bigotry, hatred or physical harm of any kind against any group or individual.
Would constitute, encourage, promote or provide instructions for conduct of an illegal activity, a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability, violate the rights of any party in any country of the world, or that would otherwise create liability or violate any local, national or international law. Provides instructional information about illegal activities such as making or buying illegal weapons, violating someone’s privacy or providing or creating computer viruses.
May infringe any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other intellectual or proprietary right of any party. In particular, content that promotes an illegal or unauthorised copy of another’s copyrighted work. Constitutes mass mailings or “spamming”, “junk mail”, “chain letters” or “pyramid schemes”.
Impersonates any person or entity or otherwise misrepresents your affiliation with a person or entity.
Is private information of any third party, including, without limitation, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, National Insurance numbers and credit card numbers. Note that an individual’s surname (family name) may be posted to our websites, but only where express permission of the identified individual has been secured beforehand.
Include or are intended to facilitate viruses, corrupted data or other harmful, disruptive or destructive files.
Is unrelated to the case related to which the content posted.
In the sole judgment of the site (a) violates the previous subsections, (b) is objectionable, (c) restricts or inhibits any other person from using or enjoying the site, or (d) may expose the site or their users to any harm or liability of any type.
Problem Shared does not assume responsibility for any content posted by you or for any error, defamation, libel, slander, omission, falsehood, obscenity, pornography, profanity, danger, or inaccuracy contained in any information within such posts on the site.
